「ベーダセンター」の命名は、インドの古典神話を記した「リグベーダ」に由来します。「ベーダ」には、「命」「知識」の意味があり、九州のこの地において、新たな命・知識と産業創造が始まることを願って、当法人理事の北野宏明氏により考案されました。
ロゴデザインの四角と丸の背景は、da vinciの図からの援用です。ベーダセンターは、人体、機械の統合理解と万能的に発展する組織として、ルネッサンス期の「万能の天才」レオナルドダビンチに敬意を表しデザインを使用しました。また、ダビンチは、世界最古のロボットの設計者でもありました。

“VEDA INTERNATIONAL ROBOT R&D CENTER” comes from Indian ancient scripture and the meaning is “Life” and “Scholarship”.
Mr. Kitano, member of Veda Center named it hoping that quite new “Life” and “Scholarship” of robot industry would be created in Kyushu.
Logo design comes from drawing of “Da Vinci” with square and circle.
Veda Center aims at integrated understanding of human and machine mechanism and at developing itself genrally.
“Da Vinci” was the first designer of robot in history and our Veda Center respect his basic ideas. |
